I do not know the official date of publication, only that it will be sometime this month.

So far I've planned a blog tour, but not much else--though I will be visiting the Great Valley Bookfest in Manteca in October.

The corrected galley is back to the publisher. I have other gigs since I wrote this; I'll be on the radio posing as Deputy Crabtree this coming Saturday, I'm giving a talk at Tulare Kings Writers group in September, will have a booth at the Central Coast Book Fair in San Luis Obispo, also in September, the GReat Valley Book Fair in October in Manteca, and the Porterville Art Museum Holiday Boutique in November.

Like I do with many folks, I met Morgen through the Internet when I learned about the great interviews she does. I thought it would be fun to turn the tables on Morgen and find out something things about her, so here goes: Morgen, except for the fact that you do terrific interviews I know very little about you. Today is My Birthday!

I never thought I'd live this long! The last few years, birthday celebrations have usually been a nice dinner out in a restaurant. Hard to do these days. Sometimes cake and ice cream is how we celebrate. This year my granddaughter, Melissa, is doing something special. She's taking her grandpa and me to a place about 1 1/2 hours away for lunch, called The Secret Garden. I've not only never been there, but I've never heard of it. I took a peek on the Internet and it looks like a beautiful place to celebrate most anything. Yes, I'm excited. I'll take pictures and report on it when I get back. Melissa is special. Everyone loves here, young and old alike. I was in the delivery room when she was born--exciting and wonderous. I babysat her many times until her mom and dad moved to Central California.
